There are so many fun milestones in your children's lives. The day they get baptised, when they graduate High School or College, leave on a mission or it's simply their birthday and they're another year older. Don't let time pass without photographing these moments.

For LDS Baptism Portraits, or Missionary Farewell Portraits, we typically go to a temple within Utah County, but this isn't necessary. Some choose to go to a nearby park or area in the canyon.

For Baptism Pictures, bring your child in their baptism dress or suit. For the girls, considering adding a flower crown. I would also suggest bringing a Book of Mormon. If its during the colder months, make sure they wear tights and bring a jacket to wear inbetween.

For Missionary Pictures, have them wear their church clothes and their name tag if they have it. Most missionaries like to also bring the flag of the country they are going to.

College + High School Graduates

Utah Senior Photographer
Senior sessions can be so fun. Some graduates choose a mountain backdrop location, and some choose more city/urban. I also love to go to their High School to do the photography session there because there are always lots of great backdrops. For senior sessions, bring a few different outfits. You should bring your cap and gown (consider borrowing from someone already graduated if you don't have one), a dressy outfit, casual, and any other outfits you love and feel confident in. For High School Seniors, if you played a sport, instrument or did any other extra-curricular activities, bring something to represent that. Ideas are dance shoes, sports jersey, lettermans jacket, sports balls, instrument, camera, etc. These portraits should show off your personality and represent you as a high school student.
For graduating college students, bring your cap and gown, and wear a nice outfit underneath. You are also welcome to bring multiple outfits if you'd like. We typically do these at the college you are graduating from. It's also fun to bring something that represents what you are graduating in, like a stethescope for nurses or art supplies for artists.
Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT BUSINESS HEADSHOTS?
Business headshots are found within my Brands section! Click here to get there easily.

CAN I SHOW YOU A PINTEREST BOARD OF PICTURES I WANT?
You can choose your favorite 1-2 images and we will try to get them. Every session is different. Pinterest is is a great resource but it is full of photographers' very best and favorite shot from their session, so to expect a whole pinterest board of the very best work from multiple photographers is just unrealistic and it doesn't allow me to use my own creativity during the shoot, resulting in everyone being unhappy.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
Travel fees vary based on location, time and miles. When locations are sent out, any additional fees will be included with that location so it isn't a surprise at the end.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY SESSION?
One of the perks of booking with me is that I send you an outfit guide at the time of booking! This will go over colors, patterns and textures to help you figure out what to wear! Im also always open to answer any questions or help you decide. I've had many people send me pictures of things they were deciding on and I've let them know if it would photograph well or if they should go with something else! Im always happy to help.
