Engagement pictures for second marriages aren't always the same as your first marriage. You are older, you might both have kids, and lets be honest, your body just doesn't move or look the same way as it used to. You might feel a little bit nervous to take engagements! That's why hiring someone who is experienced in working with older couples, and those are getting married again, is crucial. I won't make you do any of the trendy poses that just don't make sense for you. I'm very conscious of making sure you look and feel your best, giving you lots of posing options to choose from. Want to bring a second outfit? No problem! Want to do half engagements, and half family, with your new blended family? Absolutely! Lets make this engagement session perfectly YOU!

Provo Canyon Utah Fall Engagement Photographer

This location in Provo, Utah is a beautiful location! You do have to hike up a steep hill about 5 minutes to get up to the best spots. When you face one way, you have pretty fields with a close rocky mountain backdrop and the other direction has an amazing view of the mountains down the canyon! There are some cool rocks to sit and stand on too. This location also has beautiful fall color in September and October.

Salt Lake City Family Photographer

Family of Four Photography in Utah

I love shooting at the Great Saltair in Salt Lake City. We walked all the way to the Great Salt Lake and it is just stunning!! It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the great salt lake from the great saltair parking lot. With young kids it can be difficult to walk that long, and strollers don't always push so great. However we did bring a stroller to this session and did not have a problem getting it around. I usually split the session into two sections so we split the walking up which is easier on little legs.

Great Saltair Family Photography

This family photography session at the great saltair was so beautiful and just breath taking. The sunsets are always worth waiting for. During this SLC family photoshoot we had cloudy skies and it gave us an absolutely jaw dropping sunlight and colors.

Tips for family photography with young kinds at the great saltair in Salt Lake City, UT

1. Bring bug spray
2. Bring shoes that can get muddy or cleaned easily, it can get pretty muddy by the lake!
3. Plan to walk in the water in the warmer months! It is SO gorgeous especially at sunset!
4. Bring towels to clean off your feet after being in the water, and you can use them to sit on to put back on shoes.
5. Bring a crate, laundry basket or bag to carry all the towels, extra shoes (like flip flops), and bug spray in!

This SLC family photoshoot was so fun because they were willing to run around and play, which always makes the best family pictures! These parents were not scared to let their boys dig in the salty sand, put them up on their shoulders even with messy hands and feet, and run around to play with them. These sessions are just so much fun and relaxed, with no expectations, and honestly pictures always turn out better.

Spanish Fork Family Photography Session

Spanish Fork Field is one of my favorite spots for family photos with kids. These were taken during late summer after the green grass has turned yellow. The wide open space, soft light, and mountain views make it perfect for little ones to run around while also not having to walk too far for the great views. With room for everyone to spread out and relax, it creates a comfortable setting for both posed and candid shots. The neutral tones and natural scenery keep the focus on the people, which is exactly what I love most about this location, and easy to create any outfits around since every color looks great against this backdrop.

As a Spanish Fork family photographer, I know how important it is to capture the kids individual pictures, mom and dad, whole group, mom with kids, dad with kids and little moments in between and Spanish Fork Field gives us the perfect backdrop to do just that. With a family of six people, I love to spend a full photography session with them, which is an hour long. In this time we are able to get mom and daughters, mom and sons, dad and daughters and dad and sons. These are not always poses we can fit in a mini session.

Orem Utah Family Photography

This location near Orem, Utah is absolutely gorgeous with a mix of lake, tall golden grass and amazing mountain views. These pictures were taken during end of summer. The lake levels were a little lower so we had more of a beach this time!

This location has a gravel parking lot, and you do need to walk down a flight of stairs to access the beach area. Or there is a ramp if you need wheelchair access, however the area is sand so it would be difficult to push a wheelchair on it. Family photography sessions at this location gives us a lot of variety in a smaller area and that's what makes it one of my favorite locations to shoot at.

I've been photographing this cute family for a few years now and I loved this beach theme we did this year! We found an amazing piece of drift wood that we used for some of the shots and I love the way it turned out. We also did her seniors photos right before, which you can see here.

The red rock area in Utah County is a hidden gem for family photos. With warm tones, textured backgrounds, and easy access, it’s perfect for family photo sessions, especially with young kids who like to climb and play in the dirt! Kids are so happy to be here and their eye light up when they see how much fun all the rocks are! I will warn you though, your kids will probably get dirty. But if natural smiles and kids in their element is important to you, then this is a great spot to choose! In all of my family photography sessions, we get a great mix of posed and natural shots, all with the stunning utah county red rock scenery behind you.

If you live in Utah County, but have always wanted family photos with red rock without the drive to southern utah, this is the perfect spot for you!

Provo Canyon Summer Wildflowers

This location in Provo Canyon is a little hidden field filled with the cutest little wildflowers in the summer time and they last a LONG time, into September, when these dad and daughter photos were taken. This spot also starts to yellow pretty early so we were seeing the early signs of falls with lighter green/yellow leaves plus we still had remnants of wild flowers. This location features amazing Provo mountain views, tall grass, lots of trees and wild flowers for some of the year.

Daddy Daughter Photography

This cute trio was easy to photograph and I enjoyed my time with them. This was for an end-of-summer mini session date I had and we were able to get tons of variety in a short time and I think they all turned out gorgeous. I love this spot when the sun goes behind the mountain, it really helped the mountain in the background pop! As a Provo Utah Dad and Daughter Photographer for 15 years, I love to spend time with you and your kids to really photograph the connection you all have!

High School Senior Photographer in Vineyard, Utah

There are so many fun places to do high school senior pictures, and I think one that gets forgotten about a lot is vineyard beach near Utah Lake! The fields, mountain views, lake views, green trees and rocks and gorgeous lighting gives us some great backgrounds for senior girl photos with tons of variety. These were taken at the end of summer, since she needed her senior photos all year for upcoming school events!

I always suggest High School Seniors bring around 3-4 outfits to their photoshoot, including:

Casual outfit
Dressy outfit
Something to represent your high school experience, like a jersey, lettermans jacket, cheer uniform, band uniform, instrument, sports ball, pom poms, high school sweatshirt, college sweatshirt, or anything else!
Cap and gown (borrow from an older sibling or neighbor if you don't have one yet!)

This product session featured a lineup of large outdoor gear, including dry boxes, dry bags, and coolers. They were shot against a clean white background for Amazon listings. These items were all over 3 feet in size, and thanks to my in-home studio setup, I’m fully equipped to photograph larger products while maintaining sharp detail and even lighting.

In addition to high-resolution white background images, I also provided transparent PNGs for flexible use across the client’s ecommerce platforms. These crisp, professional photos help listings stand out, meet Amazon’s image requirements, and showcase product quality with clarity. Whether you're selling compact gear or oversized equipment, I’ve got the tools and space to handle it.

Wooden Bowl Lifestyle Shoot

This in-home lifestyle session focused on a beautiful collection of handcrafted wooden bowls, styled for fall. We created seasonal setups for Thanksgiving and Halloween, using cozy textures, natural elements, and warm tones to highlight the bowls in a festive but elevated way. The goal was to showcase the product in real-life use: on tables, shelves, counters and mantels, so customers could easily envision them in their own homes.
