Utah County Spanish Fork Canyon Family Photography
When McKenzie asked me to take her
fall family pictures, I knew just the place! This spot in
Spanish Fork Canyon is absolutely stunning and big enough for a lot of variety. Its also never busy so I don't have to worry about a lot of other people there. The fall leaves were in full color during October when we went and it made for some beautiful backdrops.
We had so much fun taking these
fall family pictures at this amazing spot in
Spanish Fork, Utah! In addition to capturing lots of gorgeous shots with plenty of sunlight and fall leaves, we also got some really special moments between all of them that will be cherished forever.
These were part of my fall mini sessions I ran during October. I love this spot because it has a lot of shade, and doesn't get TOO bright for those who are earlier. This spot is also close to some other fields and red rocks as well, so its a great spot to choose for a full family photography session as well, if you want to change locations half way through.
What to wear for family pictures
McKenzie is crazy good at putting together outfits for her family. I have taken her family pictures many times before and every time I feature her family in my outfit guide that you receive at the time of booking! I love this simple color palette, dark green and cream! She used 2 patterns for her family of 6 (floral dress on her daughter, and buffalo check on her daughters skirt), and also a variety of different textures, such as the tulle, sweater knit, waffle knit and lace on the shirt collar. By adding tall white socks with two of the dresses, she has added another color and layers which adds interest. The dress McKenzie chose for herself is very flattering on her and photographed beautifully.
