Conservation Garden Park Reception Photography Michelle + RJ

February 12, 2020 Photography

Michelle + RJ are the nicest couple ever. When it started pouring during their reception, they still had a smile on their faces! They even sent me a christmas card and a really nice thank you! I loved photographing their engagements, temple wedding, ring ceremony and reception!

I had never shot at this venue before but it was so beautiful. There were tons of trees and beautiful plants! There were a lot of pretty spots for pictures. Check out how cute all their decor and flowers were below.

They started with a ring ceremony and then followed with their reception. They had a food truck and an ice cream cart, and it poured later that night so everything got moved inside. I was still impressed with the lighting and even more impressed with their good attitudes!

Michelle + RJ were so incredibly sweet! They were sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple, with a reception to follow.

I loved getting to know both Michelle + RJ at their engagement session. They were easy to photograph and fun to talk to! Their wedding was beautiful and Michelle's flowers and dress were so stunning!

Lifestyle Newborn Photography Utah County Photographer

February 10, 2020 Photography

How do lifestyle newborn shoots work? They are not done in a studio, but inside your home! I like to do these in well lit, clutter-free homes. We can usually find good lighting somewhere! The bedroom, nursery or living room are my go-to spots for good lighting and a good place to work. For some people, this is easier because you don't have to leave your house; but for others, this might be more stressful because you also have to think about cleaning!

There is very limited posing with baby, mostly just swaddling and changing out headbands for the girls, and/or blankets. I love shots with mom, dad and siblings, too, and usually baby does better when they are surrounded by you!

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple at sunset is the most beautiful thing! The light there is so pretty! The temple is very small but there are some seriously amazing places to shoot around here.

Here are Rachel + Josh's bridals that we took right before their wedding. I always love doing that so we can get better lighting and have a less stressful wedding day, knowing we got most of the bridal shots around the temple.
